Rob Schneider Stands Up For Country Over Acting Career

It’s no secret that there are very few conservatives in Hollywood. Don’t tell that to comedian Rob Schneider. Over the last several months, the former Saturday Night Live contributor has been on a tear on Twitter. He’s given his thoughts on topics ranging from the transgender issue involving women and sports to various Constitutional rights — and stood up for America over potential threats to his career.

Before you assume he takes a non-conservative approach, think again. Schneider is tackling the divisions in America head-on, and he’s fearless in speaking his mind on controversial issues that really shouldn’t be in the first place.

On Sunday, January 15, Schieder talked with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade. Regarding his fight for many common sense issues, the actor asked, “[W]hat are you really leaving behind (by advocating for what you believe in)? Pointedly, Scheider isn’t directing his arrows at one political party. He noted that Republicans, just like Democrats, don’t want to give up their power.

Regardless, Schneider added that America needs to return to the normal hatred of the government. He noted we live in a constitutional republic, and even though things are not fair at times, it’s a far better system than anything we’re witnessing in Europe or China. The comedian added that authoritarianism is slipping into America and needs to be stopped dead in its tracks.

Schneider is spot on. He should be praised and supported for his advocacy of civil liberties and adherence to the Constitution. That doesn’t mean all conservatives will agree with everything he says. Still, something is refreshing about his candor in an age of rage. To his bipartisan criticism, we have a lot of work to do in conservative circles. Too many Republicans who claim the mantle of conservatism have voted repeatedly for big government programs. In September, I wrote about this in more detail and offered some solutions.

In my view, one of the most pressing issues is that many Americans lack knowledge about civics. I’m working on a number of short educational, non-partisan clips on the subject. Two videos are currently live:

  1. Why the Federal Government Exists
  2. Why the Declaration of Independence is As Relevant Today as It was in 1776

Numerous others will be uploaded in the days ahead. They will cover topics such as:

  • What the Founding Fathers Feared
  • Why the Bill of Rights is The Most Important Document Ever Created
  • Why the 10th Amendment is Vital to America’s Future
  • How Liberty and Freedom are Ensured Through Separation of Powers and Checks and Balances
  • How a Bill Becomes a Law
  • Why is the Senate Filibuster Important to America’s Republican Democracy

Many more will follow. Be sure to check the CIVICS 101 section in the menu above.

I hope you join me in the rediscovery of what makes America unique among the countries of the world.

California Proves Destructive Liberal and Progressive Policies Must Be Avoided

By Don PurdumFebruary 28, 2023

California Democrats have destroyed a once great state. Now, things are getting worse. The state is losing tens of billions of dollars in tax revenues. Bad policies are driving out residents, and things are spiraling as liberals and progressives live in denial.

How bad is it really, will it get worse, and is California progressivism about to strike a dagger in America’s future?
